Impact Auto Body was opened in February of 1981 by Bob and Debbie Schubert in a 700 square foot facility near Price and University. After one year the shop re-located to a much larger facility which was also in Tempe. Then in 2001, the business was relocated to its current location at 5035 E. McKellips in Mesa.

Over two decades later, Impact is still a family owned and operated business. With over thirty employees, the shop repairs approximately 1700 collision damaged vehicles per year. The commitment the business has made to providing both excellent service and exceptional repair quality is proven out by the fact that it has never had a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

Bob Schubert - Owner

Bob Schubert, along with his wife Debbie, are the owners of Impact Auto Body. Bob was a collision repair technician before opening Impact in 1981. For the first year he handled all aspects of the business before hiring a painter and an apprentice body technician in 1982. Over the years, the business has grown to over 30 employees. In September of 2001 the business relocated to a new facility in Mesa that is over 23,000 square feet in size and has one acre of secured parking.

Bob & Debbie have 2 children and he is originally from Champaign, Illinois. They moved to Arizona in 1975. His hobbies are fishing, gardening, and reading and he is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.

Debbie Schubert - Owner/Marketing Representative

Debbie Schubert, along with her husband, Bob, opened Impact Auto Body in 1981. She is also the marketing manager. Her background has always been in the customer service field. She loves working with the public whether it is marketing or customer service.

Debbie and Bob have 2 children. She is originally from Champaign, Illinois, but has lived in Arizona since 1975. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking, volunteering at school and church, spending time with family and traveling.
